Overview of the BP Process Technology Scholarship

Five recipients are selected to receive the scholarship for the two year Process Technology Degree Program.

The number of recipients selected for the scholarship is dependent on the allocated level of funding/creditenrollment. Funding is provided for up to two years. Scholarship award levels are:

  • Level I = $3000 (12 + credits/ semester)
  • Level II  = $2000  (9 + credits/ semester)
  • Level III=  $1500 (6 + credits).

Only required Core degree classes are funded, which are included on a degree plan worked up between the student and their advisor from one of the Process Technology Programs at each of the three University of Alaska campuses offering this degree (Fairbanks, Anchorage and Kenai)

BP andAASSP work collaboratively to identify an interview team to interview prospective applicants.

Once selected, recipients of the scholarship are required to provide verification of enrollment each semester in an accredited UA Alaska Process Technologydegree program, provide an updated degree plan signed by an advisor, and a sealed transcript showing they have maintained at least a 2.5 GPA.
